Why I started Affordable House Washing
Affordable House Washing started from a simple love for the mahi – the kind of work where you can see the difference you’ve made right in front of you. Over time, I saw how the cost of living was pushing home care further down the list for a lot of Kiwi whānau, and it didn’t sit right with me. So, I set out to build something honest, affordable, and grounded in real care.
Every job, every transformation, every smile reminds me why I began this journey in the first place – to help people feel proud of their homes again, without the stress or the price tag.
Giving a little back
There are some jobs that mean a little more than just cleaning a surface.
It was a real privilege to carry out a sanitary clean on one of our local community playgrounds. Knowing that children can now play in a cleaner, healthier environment and that families can enjoy a space that's been cared for is incredibly rewarding.
As a local business, giving back to the community that supports us is something we're passionate about. Every child deserves a safe, clean place to laugh, explore, and make memories, and we're proud to play a small part in helping make that possible.

Our commitment to every job
When I’m on a job, the most important thing to me is doing the service with real care. I’m not there to rush or cut corners; I’m there to make sure a home looks loved again. I want every customer to feel genuinely happy with the result, especially in a time when the cost of living makes it hard for Kiwi families to keep up with the little things.
Using safe, enviro-friendly products, respecting every property like it’s my own, and watching a tired exterior come back to life – that’s what drives me. It’s the pride in the work, the trust from the customer, and the transformation at the end that make this journey worth it.
